I am thoroughly convinced that the journey God brings us through, whatever it may be, is most definitely not the journey we ever would have chosen for ourselves when standing at the starting line. But I am also convinced, that the God who writes our story, is not standing at the starting line. He is viewing the entire race, with the whole map in front of him, seeing every bend and every hill, every creek and every boulder. And it is for this reason, that we can fully trust Him. That we can bear the long hikes up the mountains of life. Because He knows the absolute best way to complete the race and reach the finish line.
The journey these two have been on has definitely not been an easy one, after loosing two little boys prematurely before this pregnancy - they are trusting Jesus every step of the way. And it is a beautiful faith that can hold tight to the All Knowing, while walking into the unknown.
"Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His word; just to rest upon his promise, and to know 'Thus saith the Lord'."
I love you two and I cannot wait to meet your little person coming soon.
